Boppard Village

Travel Date:

Friday, 23rd May 2014

Boppard is one of the towns of Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis (district) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, which in the northern part of the Rhine Gorge. The roads in the village were built of bricks.

There was an old yet beautiful church, which may be built in the 12th or 13th century. The name of this worship place is Saint Severus Catholic Church, which has a noticeable tower.  Check out more pictures inside and outside of the church in the related articles.

We continued to roam around, took some photos of the town. Can't help but noticed those cute dwarf sculptures in crazy costumes displayed in the souvenir shop. I just looked around the shop and only bought a magnet. Time to go back to the Boppard docking area for our river cruise.
