The twenty-fourth of May (Sat), our first road trip to Germany on board with very comfy coach provided by Insight Vacations. I woke up around 05:00 am to do some packaging. Although our Tour Director had already arranged a wake-up call at 6:00 am from the hotel receptionist, I feel like I needed more time to do the packing. We were out all night, so I wasn't able to prepare it in advance. At 6:15 am, our luggage were ready for pick up.
We went for breakfast at around 6:30 am in the Silk Road restaurant located on the second level. It was a buffet style and the food was excellent. At exactly 8:00 am, we departed from Amsterdam to Germany.
Along the way, saw farms with lots of cattle, mountains, rivers, vineyards. After almost 3 hours, we stopped for a snack, coffee, to stretch or to pee in a rest area. On our way to Romantic Rhine, we passed the Arnhem bridge known for the 1977 movie 'A Bridge Too Far'.
We reached at around 11:00 am at our destination and did a walking tour around the lovely little village of Boppard in Germany.
Past 2:00 pm, we headed our way to another tourist destination in the town of Heidelberg where we stayed for one night.
