Candlelight Inn

After a nice hike and checked-in to our comfy bed 'n breakfast in Morrison, IL, our tummies led to Candlelight Inn. This Mississippi River overlooking restaurant is located along the Riverside Drive of Clinton, IA. That weekend we didn't plan to drive out of state, but when I learned it from Marsha (owner of M&M BnB) that it will be just 12 miles away, then we decided to go.

I was satisfied with my dish which is lemon butter salmon with squash and asparagus. They have a variety of side dishes, and I chose beef spaghetti.  My hubby liked the tenderness of his well done Ribeye steak with mushrooms and coleslaw for a side dish. I had unlimited refills of iced tea and soda.

It was a fantastic night, dining in a newly discovered place.
