Another famous tourist attraction in Lucerne is to climb to Mountain Pilatus. The best way to experience it is to do the Golden Round trip. It has been known that during a clear day, the mountain offers a panoramic view of 73 Alpine peaks.

From the hotel, we headed to Kriens to do the ride. As we went up via Aerial Panaroma Gondola, we have the seen the city of Lucerne and it got higher and higher.. steeper and steeper. On top of the mountain we had our lunch and shopped for some souvenirs.  We came out of the building to see more of the Alpine peaks but it was too foggy.

Did you know that Pilatus dragon mountain has steepest railway (ascent 48%) in the world?
